It was a big night for Mistress last night at the 2nd annual Shorty Social Good Awards, where Mistress took home 3 awards before the night closed.

“Give the Talk”, a PSA created by Mistress’s very own creative power team Rachel Guest and Celine Faledam, took top honors in the Public Health category, and also won a bronze among the Pro-Bono candidates. “Give the Talk” used porn stars to raise awareness amongst parents about porn as sex-ed. The campaign began with a 1-minute film starring porn actress Monique Alexander. Following the film, parents were provided with facts and resources to begin the dialogue.

Mistress also won for the strategy for #EveryoneIsWelcome”, a campaign done together with the Los Angeles Board of Tourism to encourage travel and tourism within Los Angeles. The stunt garnered 54 news stories from publications such as LA Times, Billboard, and Forbes in just a short 48 hours after the event and amassed 673K media impressions. And the film got over 2.6MM views on Facebook.
