Mistress On Modern Media Culture

Advertising is changing forever. Are you ready to embrace the future?

Advertising used to be simpler. Big brands, big media and big agencies had the power to push messaging out to broad audiences, and therefore shape Media Culture. Today, we live in an era of Modern Media Culture, where consumers have the power to block, skip and largely avoid brand messages altogether, if they so choose. This is forcing marketers to re-evaluate how to add value, entertain, and pull audiences in across millions of people on platforms as diverse as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. Additionally, new technologies are giving brands expansive, powerful tools to embrace creativity in fundamental new ways that look nothing like a TV spot.

Mistress’s mission is to help our clients navigate from the old world to the new world. Every day, we challenge everyone at our agency to embrace creativity, to embrace disruption, to discover, contemplate and talk about where marketing is headed.

For more on our point-of-view about Modern Media Culture, read (and listen) on.
